System omics to unravel the gut-kidney
axis in Chronic Kidney Disease
STRATEGY-CKD provides an integrated and structured training programme to prepare young researchers to become successful, proactive, and competitive players in the fields of clinical omics, Systems Biology/Medicine as well as kidney disease /research. Young researchers will be trained in cell culture based and animal models and the use of state-of-the-art omics and bioinformatics technologies in CKD.
Cutting-edge research in CKD is being carried out in
individual sectors, the exchange of information and coordination of activities has been limited. STRATEGY-CKD aims to overcome this limitation by bringing together partners from complementary
disciplines and sectors in a well-planned research design.
